About FIFA
Founded in 1904, the International Football Federation (FIFA) aims to promote the development of international football and foster friendly relations between national football associations. In 2001, the FIFA quality system was introduced to artificial turf. Its professionalism and rigor have become the industry standard for artificial turf, improving game quality and ensuring player safety while also resolving the dilemma of choosing artificial turf.
The FIFA logo appears only on fields that have passed FIFA testing (accredited laboratories such as Labosport in France and Sports Labs in the UK). Testing consists of two phases: laboratory testing and field testing. Only after passing these two phases can a FIFA Field Certificate be issued by FIFA and registered on the FIFA official website.
Certified fields are divided into two levels: FIFA Quality Pro and FIFA Quality. FIFA Quality Pro is equivalent to the previous "2 Star" certification.
